A Special FPCJ Jackson Wedding at the Cedars
Ohh, Elizabeth and Aubrey! It will be hard to ever top this perfect southern wedding. This Jackson wedding at the Cedars and First Presbyterian Church was a ton of firsts for me: my first wedding of a childhood friend, my first wedding in my hometown, my first wedding at my home church, and the coolest – my first wedding that I got to photograph where my MOM had photographed Elizabeth’s parents wedding!! But enough about me, let’s talk about THEM!
Aubrey and Elizabeth (oh, um, Liz, Lizzie… the verdict still seems to be out depending on who you asked at the rehearsal dinner) are truly the perfect match. They are two of the most laid back people who just adore each other, and are so loved by their friends in family from Jackson, Ole Miss, and everywhere in between!
Their Wedding Day
I was obsessed with every detail of their day from the custom maps they had drawn, the stunning dark green velvet bridesmaids dresses, and the classic black tuxes, for instance. The girls had fun getting ready at Elizabeth’s parent’s home in Woodland Hills as they watched the royal weddings. The guys grabbed lunch at Keifer’s before hanging in the FPC cafeteria to get the day started (I walked in there and immediately felt eight years old again – there are just some places/smells/memories you NEVER forget!) . After that, the couple shared a sweet first look and fun moments with their intimate bridal party.
Because this couple is so amazing, it’s no surprise their wedding day was, too! The ceremony was absolutely stunning and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect for their gorgeous indoor/outdoor reception at the Cedars. I truly hope to be friends with this sweet couple for life just as our parent’s have been, and I hope this is the first of many, many Mississippi weddings in my future! Above all, Mississippi will always have my heart!
Cheers to Aubrey and Liz! I just love you both!

Hey y’all! I’m Wyeth Augustine, a wedding photographer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I’m lucky enough to shoot weddings and engagements all over the South. If you’re looking to book a Jackson wedding at the Cedars, wedding, or engagement session ANYWHERE please shoot me a quick message over here!
Wyeth is without a doubt the wonderful product of her beautiful, artistic and special photographer parents (and long-time friends), but with her an individual spunk and approach that is all her own. The proof of her very exceptional talent is easily seen in these captured memories. But the best part of an engagement with Wyeth is the interaction with family and friends at such an intimate and special occasion. She is a delight to be around, a fun personality that is warm and inviting, creating the atmosphere needed for comfortable and real expressions from everyone. We loved every minute working with such a professional artist as Wyeth!! Mike and Gina O’Connell (parents of the bride)
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Your words mean more to me than you’ll ever know!!
