Kella! Cole! Ahh, I love these two people and I loved this session. Kella and I were sorority sisters at Ole Miss, and it was just a joy to shoot this beautiful Oxford, Mississippi engagement session on the Square!

We started the session off with Cash, the most photogenic pup! He was truly the best boy – such a good listener! They’re getting another puppy this year, and I’m hoping I get to meet him soon because they obviously have the sweetest dogs.

Their friends Taylor and Sawyer live in Oxford and got caught doing a little creeping on our session – Taylor was a Phi Mu with us as well! Bet y’all didn’t know you’d end up on the blog, too! 😉

All of the Details…

I can’t believe it but this was my FIRST session in Oxford! What. a. dream. I mean I’ve always loved the Square, but realizing how many AMAZING photo spots there are makes me want to shoot there again and again! It was actually a super rainy day but it made for such a gorgeous, colorful session! We also met at Funkys before AND after the session so if that’s not a good time then I don’t know what is!!

Cole proposed to Kella with his mom’s beautiful ring, and he also gave her his mom’s stunning fur coat for Christmas. This will forever be one of my favorite ring stories and photos because I know it’s such a special part of their family and memory of his amazing momma!

I’ve always thought Kella was hilarious and amazing, and Cole is such a perfect match for her! It means the world to me that I get to photograph their August wedding. It’s going to be a perfect Hotty Toddy day! Until then, cheers!!
