Bridlewood of Madison Wedding Day
Y’all, this wedding! There are no words! Madison + Baker celebrated their best day ever at Bridlewood of Madison, and it was absolutely unbelievable!
I’ve been excited about this Mississippi wedding day ever since Madison called me for the first time, and after their engagement session this summer I was even more excited! So much so, that I asked my sister Rachel (if y’all don’t know this, she is an AMAZING photographer in Iowa) to come join me as a second photographer and, she did! It was so special shooting our first wedding together, and we’ve decided we want it to be our first of many!
The girls spent the day getting ready at beautiful Bridlewood of Madison, and the guys hung out and had a few beers while everyone waited for Baker and Madison to see each other. As if the first look between the two of them wasn’t the sweetest thing ever already, Madison and her Dad shared one of the best daddy-daughter first looks I’ve ever witnessed! He made a joke to me about “well, what am I supposed to do when I see her”, but before he even turned around, everyone involved was in tears! It was one of my favorite moments of the day.
The First Look…
You’ve seen by now that Madison made the most BEAUTIFUL bride – like, wow! I was absolutely in love with her cathedral length veil that flew in the wind so beautifully. Baker’s reaction was the absolute BEST when he saw her, and the two read letters to each other and got to take in the day. This is ALWAYS the part of the wedding day where I’m crying behind my camera, ha!
After the first look we hopped in Baker’s Dads truck and headed out to the fields for more photos. The bridal party joined us – and boy, did they have a bridal party! Over thirty beautiful humans!!
The wedding day flew by and then it was time for the ceremony – and WOW. It couldn’t have been at a more beautiful time of day. Madison and Baker exchanged vows and the photos after the ceremony might just be my favorite!
Now For the Party…
And… we’ve finally made it. The reception. Never in my wedding career have I photographed such a party! The band was insane and absolutely brought the house down. People were on the dance floor every single minute of the night!
It will not be easy to top this wedding, and it certainly was the perfect day to kick off my 2020 wedding season, especially with my sister! Cheers to the amazing vendors who made this day what it was, and congrats to the Hills!
