Ohhhh, my, goodness. I am seriously still in awe of this day!! Brittney and Joe have quickly become two of my favorite people. Being a part of their intimate wedding in Charlotte surrounded by their closest family and friends was the greatest honor. I absolutely am in love with the quiet, easy love they share. I loved seeing all of the details they put so much thought and effort into come to life.

The Wedding

The wedding was on Lake Norman at the most beautiful house.  Because of the privacy, it made for the most stunning photos and easy day. Their precious daughter Audrey was a complete trooper! The one time you’ll see I caught her crying, she was just upset with her cousin/bff over who got to hold Mommy’s dress first! She even came up during the ceremony, unplanned, and just stood there and held her mommy and daddy’s hands as they got married. It was unbelievably sweet.

Another one of my favorite moments was the most beautiful first look. I love how you can literally just feel the stresses of a wedding day melt away. During the reception, Brittney and Joe’s siblings shared advice from every single one of their wedding guests. It was incredible because that’s exactly what makes intimate weddings so special!  Their guests shared an amazing meal at a long table by candle light overlooking the lake.  They ended the night with drinks, dancing, and cheesecake!

I am so excited to see what is in store for this beautiful family and just felt so privileged to witness such an emotional, beautiful day.
