A Charleston Engagement Session

A Charleston Engagement session with two of the CUTEST people I’ve ever met? Count. Me. In! When Jesse reached out to me about their engagement session and told me she wanted to do it in Charleston where AJ is currently living, I was so excited! It’s definitely one of my absolute favorite cities, and shooting there is beyond a dream!

I do have a wedding later this year in the Holy City, but this was my first Charleston engagement session! I just love how colorful it is at every turn, and how there’s literally not a corner of downtown Charleston that isn’t begging to be photographed!

About the Couple

Jesse + AJ are the most perfect high school sweethearts, and I just love that you can tell they are SO READY to be married! Jesse is working hard in Charlotte to finish nursing school, and she will move to Charleston with AJ when they get married. I can’t wait to see how beautiful their day is going to be!

One of my favorite things about Charlotte is how easy it is to get to amazing cities like Charleston, Savannah, and Asheville! That’s just the beginning of the list… it goes on and on! Casey and I made a fun weekend out of this Charleston engagement session. We had fun walking and eating our way through the city the night before!

I loved both of Jesse + AJ’s outfits, and one of my favorite things about this session is all of the different looks the city gave us! Buildings, rainbow row, the water, palm trees – I could just shoot there every day!

I am so excited for these two to tie the knot, and so thankful that they trusted me with this session. I can’t wait for the next time I get to shoot in the beautiful city of Charleston! Cheers to Jesse + AJ!
