New Orlean’s Wedding at Brennan’s

Helen + Andrew’s New Orleans wedding FINALLY happened! These sweet friends planned their original day for May in Mississippi, but after plan A didn’t work (and okay, maybe plan B and C, too), they got married on a gorgeous summer day at their New Orleans Wedding at Brennan’s!

Helen is a Phi Mu sorority sister of mine from Ole Miss, and I really can’t tell you my excitement when she reached out to photograph her big day! I may have said this before on the blog but I’ll say it again. There truly is something so special about capturing the day of friend’s weddings! It’s such a true honor for me!

If you’re familiar with New Orleans, you’re probably familiar with Brennan’s! It’s such a classic New Orleans restaurant, and Helen and Andrew were the first people to be married there since they reopened after the pandemic. The staff was so amazing, the florals by Dunn and Sonnier were out of this world, and the food was classic New Orleans perfection! I think brunch weddings are such a fun mix up!

After brunching and celebrating with friends and family, the couple and I headed back to the Windsor Court Hotel for more photos. I could have taken photos for HOURS around the French Quarter – there’s just no shortage of amazing spots to explore. I hope to photograph many more New Orleans weddings in the future!

Even though I know it was stressful at time planning this wedding thanks to COVID, this New Orleans wedding at Brennan’s was a dream and I’m so happy for Helen and Andrew. Cheers to the Malones!
