One of the most incredible parts of my job is the people I get to meet. This day, this couple, and this family are the perfect example of that. I love all of the couples I’ve gotten to work with, but some just become so special instantly that we feel like we’ve been friends forever! Elyse + Chris are certainly at the top of the list and their Providence Country Club wedding was a DREAM day for me!

Some of the best days are the ones that don’t feel rushed. We spent the day capturing first looks between the bridesmaids and Elyse, and her and her Dad who I quickly grew to love so much! Elyse and Chris had a beautiful Havdalah service to close Shabbat and start the wedding ceremony. Chris even took time to eat a meal before the wedding, which is a total pro tip my friends! From the incredible reception set-up to dancing on chairs during the Horah, this day was nothing short of unbelievable and I’m so excited to share it with you on the blog!

The Providence Country Club

Because of the overall design of the wedding day, Providence Country Club set the best background for this wedding. I just love a country club wedding, and Chris and Elyse’s classic wedding day looks fit the setting just perfectly.

I actually woke up on my birthday this year with the kindest email I’ve ever gotten from a parent. Elyse’s Dad, Andrew, was kind enough to send this email to me that I truly will never forget. He said:

Wyeth, I know it’s been already relayed to you, but your work is truly spectacular.

You and your team were consummate professionals and you managed to capture all of the images from a long and wonderful day. Without exception your ability to frame the perfect shot will provide us memories for a lifetime. I can’t thank you enough for playing your part in a memorable life event. Stunning is not a descriptive enough word.

I’m gobsmacked.
