Alex and Summer recently tied the knot at Duke Mansion in a spectacular wedding that brought a touch of city style to the South. Summer, former Miss United States and current director of operations at MMG, and Alex, an executive at Salesforce, both live together in New York City. They wanted to incorporate the elegance and sophistication of the Big Apple into their special day at Duke Mansion.
Attention to detail was truly remarkable. The couple cleverly incorporated New York City elements into their wedding, such as using taxi cab escort cards and creating newspapers that provided guests with all the information they needed about the wedding and the festivities. To top it all off, they had an incredible band that kept everyone on their feet, dancing the night away. It was a black-tie affair, and their guests certainly know a sense of occasion!
I had the privilege of capturing their engagement session in New York City last year at Christmas time. It was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of my photography career.
These two are already on their honeymoon in Paris, and I’m so glad they get to relax in the city of love after this PERFECT wedding day!
