It’s only January, but I have a feeling this will be the blog post of the year! Kelly + Chris celebrated with over 30 of their closest family and friends with a Sandals Negril wedding in beautiful Jamaica! It was a three day celebration, and I was pinching myself the whole time that I got to be there to not only meet these new friends, but have a BLAST celebrating with them!
Family and friends arrived throughout the week, and the wedding weekend kicked off on Thursday with a gorgeous beach side welcome party.
One thing I LOVE about destination weddings is that because I’m there for the whole weekend with the couple, I have lots of time for beautiful travel photos of the guests! Everyone deserves perfect photos on vacation!
The local band Chris and Kelly chose was PERFECT and really set the scene for this gorgeous welcome party. After a sweet welcome speech from the couple and a cheers of a coconut drink or two, everyone partied into the night!
Before we knew it, it was Friday! Wedding day! Kelly and Chris got dressed and hung out with family and friends in the spacious suites at Sandals Negril.
Kelly shared the sweetest first look with her dad before walking down the aisle. Their relationship was so special – there wasn’t a dry eye in the house during their first dance to Tim McGraw’s My Little Girl. I loved it so much!
The gorgeous ceremony was short but oh, so sweet! Can bubble exits always be a thing?! It was absolutely dreamy!
Let’s talk about this crew! Y’all, I didn’t know a single soul at this wedding coming in and by the time we left, we felt like we had 30 new best friends! Seriously, not only were Kelly + Chris the most wonderful people, they obviously surround themselves with them, too. Casey and I couldn’t have been more thankful that they invited us into all of the fun and treated us like just another couple at the party!
If you thought you’ve seen a lot of photos already, here come the bride and groom portraits! Kelly + Chris are absolutely gorgeous both inside and out. They worked so hard to make this celebration happen! The couple had to reschedule their flights 6 times, coordinate dozens of room changes for guests and waited nervously for over thirty negative COVID tests! Even though they went through so much to get there, you could tell everyone was just thrilled to finally celebrate this amazing couple.
When they had been dating just six months, they visited Jamaica and decided they HAD to get married at Sandals Negril one day! Everyone understood the second we walked off the plane why they fought so hard for this Sandals Negril wedding! The country is beautiful, the resort is unforgettable and the whole celebration was truly something I’ll cherish being a part of forever!
It’s going to take me a while to get over these photos! Ahh!
Next, it was time for the most gorgeous cocktail hour on the deck overlooking a gorgeous beach sunset. If you need a reason to have your own Sandals Negril wedding, this might just be it!
As the sun went down, the couple literally danced the night away with family and friends. Y’all, the dance floor was EVERYTHING. Casey and I definitely got down with our bad selves right along with everyone else. All of the hard work Kelly, Chris, and their families put into this week paid off in every way. It was truly just the most beautiful day!
On the final day of the wedding festivities, Kelly + Chris treated everyone to the most incredible Catamaran ride! It was not only unbelievable to get to ride on the gorgeous Jamaican seas, but we even got to jump in! It was something I’ll never, ever forget!
I know there are SO many photos in this post but I promise, this was me showing restraint! I could go on and on about this weekend, this wedding, and these people. And I probably will! I hope this is the first of many Sandals Negril weddings of my career. Cheers to the Brocks!
