Oh, sweet Jessica and Nathan! I am so excited to share this dreamy backyard wedding day! Although this was not originally supposed to be a Charlotte backyard wedding, COVID-19 had other plans. They certainly did not let that ruin their day! This couple was SO excited to get married which is always the best! They took all of the beautiful details from their original wedding day, and made the most of it in the world’s most beautiful Charlotte backyard!
Although Jessica and I didn’t have the chance to meet before their big day, we instantly clicked and I swear I felt like I had known these two forever! I’m always so thankful when my couples just invite me in and make me feel like part of the family so quickly. I love those moments when I just feel like the fly on the wall, capturing every sweet interaction!
The ceremony was incredibly sweet and intimate! Everyone was in tears and I loved when everybody raised their hands to pray over their marriage. Their family sat in 8 chairs near the couple as they got married, their precious nieces and nephews shared a picnic and coloring book as they watched their favorite “princess” get married, and a few close friends stood in the back. Family and friends that couldn’t be there joined in on FaceTime! Aren’t we all so thankful for technology in these crazy COVID-19 times?!
The couple ended the night with cake, toasts, and dinner from Inizio Pizza at a long, intimate table with their family. I can’t wait to see where life takes these two – Cheers to the Joffe’s!
