Here’s my list of the best Charlotte Engagement session locations:

Jetton Park

Jetton Park is at the TOP of my list, because it’s ridiculously versatile! Both of these photos were taken there – one looks like their at the beach, the other a beautiful open field at golden hour, and we never left the Charlotte area! I can’t recommend this awesome Charlotte park enough.

Uptown

One of the best things about Uptown is no two sessions there look the same! You can start in one of the gorgeous parks such as Romare Bearden or Marshall Park, and make your way through the gorgeous buildings and green spaces during your session. I never get tired of Uptown as an engagement session location!

Latta Nature Preserve

Latta Nature Preserve is another amazing spot for your Charlotte engagement session. Tall grass, beautiful trees, and from time to time you can even spot butterfly swarms there!

Freedom Park

Freedom Park is always a popular location for Charlotte Engagement Sessions! This sprawling park provides a ton of amazing backgrounds for your session.

Fourth Ward

I feel like this might be the most under-rated location on this list! Fourth Ward is AMAZING for photos, and makes for such a fun location for your engagement session! It’s always a fun place to start before heading into Uptown!

The best Charlotte engagement session locations are the ones that mean something to you. An engagement session is the perfect time to capture who you are as a couple at this special stage in your life. At home sessions are amazing, neighborhoods that mean a lot to you are always an amazing option – think Southend, Plaza Midwood, NoDa…. even your favorite restaurant or the bar where you met can make for a precious session!

The good news is, Charlotte is such a beautiful city and you absolutely cannot go wrong when choosing a Charlotte engagement session location!
