Y’all, it’s been a while but the blog is BACK and boy, do I have a perfect one for you! Allie + Jack celebrated their wedding day at Low Meadows estate and they brought the PARTY!
I’m so glad to share my own collection of photos from this gorgeous Charleston wedding day at the Arbor Room! As a Southern wedding photographer, Charleston is my favorite place to shoot. Because the city is such an iconic place to get married, it’s a light and airy Charleston wedding photographer dream!!
All of my couples are so special to me, but Christi and James just truly felt like old friends from the minute I met them! It’s hard to believe this gorgeous wedding day at Vesuvius Vineyards has come and gone. I remember meeting these two cuties over Mexican food (James’ love of queso was mentioned at the wedding, of course) and now they are MARRIED!
If this isn’t your first time around here, you probably know how much I LOVE the city of New Orleans! Everything about it is romantic to me, and the Mississippi girl in me will always cherish this city as an ultimate getaway. Anna Grace + Michael wanted to start the session in City Park with their sweet pups, and we ended the session in the French Quarter and at the Monteleone where I’ll photograph their wedding in May!
It’s only January, but I have a feeling this will be the blog post of the year! Kelly + Chris celebrated with over 30 of their closest family and friends with a Sandals Negril wedding in beautiful Jamaica! It was a three day celebration, and I was pinching myself the whole time that I got to be there to not only meet these new friends, but have a BLAST celebrating with them!
Oh my, this Lodge at Gulf State park wedding is a special one! Olivia and I have been friends since first grade. Yep, that’s right! We have been friends for over two decades, and when she asked me to travel to her Gulf Shores wedding, I couldn’t have been more honored.
Ahh, this North Carolina Beach Wedding was incredible!! Peter and Alexis are the sweetest duo, and their COVID-19 wedding outside of Wilmington absolutely fit their fun, laid-back personalities to a T! Peter and Alexis changed their original plans due to COVID, and got married in Surf City, North Carolina in front of their closest friends […]
New Orlean’s Wedding at Brennan’s Helen + Andrew’s New Orleans wedding FINALLY happened! These sweet friends planned their original day for May in Mississippi, but after plan A didn’t work (and okay, maybe plan B and C, too), they got married on a gorgeous summer day at their New Orleans Wedding at Brennan’s! Helen is […]
Micro-Wedding at The Andrew’s Farm This wedding literally makes me smile from ear to ear! Asheton + Michael’s micro-wedding at The Andrew’s Farm in Midland, North Carolina was a dream day! Ever since I heard about the Andrew’s Farm I couldn’t wait to shoot there, and it even exceeded my expectations! This gorgeous home sits […]
Y’all… this day! Taylor + Seth had to change their venue last minute due to good ol’ Covid. Let me tell you, it couldn’t have worked out better! I’m SWOONING over these photos and the fun we had. There’s something about men in uniform, am I right?!
My goal for every couple that steps in front of my camera is that they would feel at ease and as special as they truly are. My approach to photography is a combination of editorial work where I provide direction and posing every step of the way, and documentary work to capture those candid moments of your ceremony and reception that allow you to re-live every moment of your day for years to come.
